CHARANGO is string plucked instrument with 5 double strings, small guitar of Latin America Indians. It is usually made of armour of armadillo (local name - CIRCINCHO). It is used in music of Peru, Bolivia and Northern Argentina.
There is a popular belief among Indians of Andes that an armadillo will not die if he longs his life as musical instrument.
