In sixties whole family of electric guitars appeared: solo-guitar, rhythm-guitar and bass-guitar. First beat-groups used three ELECTRIC GUITARS as a basis of orchestra, adding drums. Later groups stopped using the rhythm-guitar. Nowadays modern rock-group uses bass-guitar and electric guitar which has both functions of solo and rhythm. With development of electronics the possibilities of electric guitar enrich. Now it is a universal instrument, using computer technologies, and it gets huge shown possibilities in many music styles.
