In four-string version was broght with CONCISTADORS to America, where nowadays it is widely used in folk music of Latin America. Modern GUITAR consists of wooden body with deep hollows on the sides and flat tables (there is round tone hole in upper one), fingerboard (there are 19-24 metal frets), peg disk with tuning pegs. Nylon strings are used in classic music, musicians of other styles prefer metal strings.
